Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers Chief Executive, Fiona Campbell, said:

“It is a real honour to have won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Tourism’ award from the Women in Tourism Top 100.

“This award, like any award which is given to an individual within our organisation, represents the efforts of the wider team at the ASSC, and the huge effort that Scottish self-catering has made to pull ourselves through the pandemic and get our industry moving again.

“My heartfelt appreciation goes to Women In Tourism for their tireless efforts in ensuring that women working in Scottish tourism are recognised for their achievements.”

Fiona was also recently awarded the Pioneer trophy at the Shortyz awards, commonly referred to as the “Oscars for the short-term rental industry”, at a ceremony in London.

The ASSC Chief Executive was given the award in recognition of her being “a business leader with exceptional vision and leadership”, according to the event organisers.

Everyone involved in the ASSC are incredibly proud of Fiona, Tara, and Melanie for their achievements and thanks them for all their hard work on behalf of Scottish self-catering.

Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers Chief Executive, Fiona Campbell, said:

“My colleagues and I are thrilled to have received these awards, they are very important to us.

“We work brilliantly as a team and I’m proud to have such diligent, conscientious, and supportive colleagues.

“As our industry recovers from the impact of COVID-19 and continues to deal with the other issues we face, I am confident that, with my teammates by my side, we will continue to do Scottish self-catering, as well as the wider tourism industry, proud.”
