ASSC is delighted to share a wee bit of good news today…
Fiona, Melanie and Eleanor are recognised in the Top 100 Women in Tourism Award Winners for 2020.
We are absolutely delighted that three of our inspirational woman have been recognised as part of the Top 100 Women in Tourism awards. Our industry benefits from some visionary woman leaders and we wholeheartedly support them being recognised in this way. The support and kind words that we have received from ASSC members around the country have kept us going through these very challenging and difficult times. While Scottish tourism has had a rough few months recently, we’re confident that with the innovative and dynamic leadership we have, Scottish self-catering will continue to thrive. Everyone at the ASSC sends our most sincere congratulations to all the other women who have won and wishes them all the best for the future.
Dear Eleanor, Fiona & Melanie,
Earlier this year we launched a public campaign to find the Top 100 Women In Tourism and I’m delighted to let you know that you are all 2020 award winners! I attach a full list of all the winners for this year – nominated by peers within the industry.
On behalf of the full Women In Tourism Board, please accept a massive congratulations from us all. In what has been one of the most challenging years on record for our industry; your passion, dedication and enthusiasm for our sector is what will see us through 2020 and into recovery in 2021. While the impacts of the pandemic will be felt for years to come, it’s important we take a moment to recognise and celebrate our leaders within tourism and I thank you all for being those shining lights.
Congratulations again!
Best wishes,
Susan Russell
